The first grade students had a special visitor today! Officer Jennings of the Grandview Police Department came for a visit to tell us about being a police officer. This was a great addition to the service jobs unit the first grade is studying this week!
Mrs. Jennings’ class learned about police officers today and what those officers do for us everyday. Thursday, Mrs. Jennings’ husband is going to come talk to the whole first grade about his job as a police officer!
School picture day is tomorrow, September 12, 2019. If you want to purchase pictures, visit inter-state.com/order to order on-line. Please use Rich Hill Elementary order code 40295HA. You may also return the paper form to school with your child.
Attention parents and elementary students: Effective tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3, 2019, special class schedules are changing. Instead of having the same special class for each day of the week, the schedule will be on an A, B, C, D, E rotation. For example, if your child has Music on Mondays and PE on Tuesdays, now Music will be the “A” special and PE will be the “B” special. This will eliminate the problem of some classes missing a special class due to a no school day. Tomorrow we will begin with our “A” special class. Thank you in advance for supporting this change!
