The HS Band is about to march their last parade in the Fort Scott Veterans Day Parade! Their coldest parade yet!
Today Ms. Wills and students traveled to the KC Jewish Community Center to listen to 3 Holocaust survivors share their personal experiences. Being able to hear first hand testimony is rare. This is commemorating the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht.

A big congratulations to Mackenzie Wheatley for receiving first alternate alto saxophone for the West Central All-District Honorable Mention Band!! She was 11th out of 47 alto saxophone players AND only one of two students that placed from the WEMO conference for both bands!#proudtobeatiger
FCCLA members spent the morning volunteering at Harvesters Food Network. We packaged 1,160 Back Snack meals and donated 152 pounds of canned goods.
Harvesters is the organization that supplies our elementary Back Snack program. This was a great opportunity for our students to give back!

Costume contest this Wednesday! To enter, students must bring 3 canned goods. All donations will be given to Harvesters Food Network. No masks or weapons allowed, and costumes must be school appropriate.
