Rich Hill High School held commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM. A huge congratulations to every senior and to this year's valedictorian and salutatorian.
The 2022 valedictorian is Ms. Katelynn Dawn Tourtillott.
Katie is the daughter of Dylann and Heidi Tourtillott. While in high school she was involved in cheer, volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field, choir, drama club, student council, FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, NHS, Mathletes, Relay for Life, and the A+ Program. Katie was the FFA president, STUCO secretary, class vice president, and NHS vice president. After graduation, she plans to attend college to double major in chemistry and sports medicine where she will work her way towards medical school. After med school, she plans to become an orthopedic or pediatric surgeon.
The 2022 salutatorian is Ms. Sydney Lynn Bell.
Sydney is the daughter of Marc and Alison Bell. During high school she was active in cheer, band, basketball, track and field, choir, student council, FFA, NHS, mathletes, relay for life, Be the Match foundation, and the A+ program. She held office as the FFA and Band vice president, as well as the president for NHS, the senior class, and student council. Sydney started and led the student’s weekly Bible study. Sydney has been accepted to MU and plans to pursue a degree in biological sciences.
